|| FinalProject || FinalProjectScience || FinalProjectSoftware || = Final Project = Computational scientists are roughly split into two groups: those who ''use'' software, and those who ''write'' software. Naturally, there is a lot of overlap between these groups, but it is often developers who use their own tools. In order for this class to be a fair representation of scientific computing, the final project will be split along similar lines. I have placed you in your based on my perception of your interests. Both groups will have to write and use software, but the emphasis will be shifted in each. Namely, one group is tasked to explore a scientific question using simulation and visualization, the other is tasked to produce software to perform scientifically meaningful simulations. The two teams will not work in isolation, but will provide constant feedback to each other. == Science & Visualization == === Team === * [wiki:HowardBio Howard] * [wiki:JonBio Jon] === Instructions === FinalProjectScience === Documentation === FinalProjectScienceReport == Software Development == === Team === * [wiki:BorisBio Boris] * [wiki:SpencerBio Spencer] === Instructions === FinalProjectSoftware == Links == http://www.cs.mcgill.ca/~jthors/251proj.html
