System Requirements:

OS:
Irix 6.5 or higher or Redhat Linux 5.2 or 6.x or equivalent Linux

Resident Graphics Library:
OpenGL or OpenGL-compatible API such as Mesa. IrisGL not recommended

SGI:
MIPS3 or higher Athlon, or Intel: Pentium or higher


System Recommendations:

8 auxiliary graphics bitplanes recommended for volume rendering (for sgi check this by typing the following: /usr/gfx/gfxinfo)Negligible memory requirements, however, .5 Gigabytes of memory recommended for large datasets (larger than 128x128x128. We are working hard to better optimize this limitation)

(All formats assume Cartesian & cubic data)
